Mark Aldrich claimed his first feature victory of 2010 during the Joshua Hadley Memorial at Butler (Mi.)
Speedway.
Aldrich and Chad Blonde started on the front row for the 25-lap winged sprint feature. Aldrich jumped to the
early lead, then was able to hold Blonde at bay during several restarts in a race that saw several cautions. Gary Fast followed the duo at the checker and took his second-straight top 3 finish. Doug Zimmerman was fourth, while current North Carolina resident and 1988 Butler champion Brad Wickham was fifth. The rest of the top 10 were Dan Hall, Rocky LoPresto, Bill Jacoby, and Chad Hart.
Winged sprint heat races went to Zimmerman, Fast, and Dan Hall.
Butler Speedway will play host to its annual fireworks display on July 10.
