Denver, CO. (July 19, 2010) – The RMMRA is set to challenge the 1/3 mile flat
D-Shape track at the El Paso County Fairgrounds Speedway in Calhan, CO this Saturday
night, sponsor by USA Performance Engines. This will be the first of two appearances,
the second appearance will be on August 21. The track is located on the El Paso County
Fairgrounds at the south east side of Calhan, CO at 366 10th Street, just off of Calhan
Highway and US Highway 24.
For those driving in from North, West or East, it has been requested that you enter into
Calhan on Hwy. 24 and use Calhan Highway (Yoder St.) as the only entrance towards
the fairgrounds. Pit access will be through the southeast gate (where the school buses
are parked). After 4:30, the only pit access will be through the east gate. Pit Gates
will open at 2:00 with the drivers meeting at 3:30, and hot laps at 4:15.
3-Time RMMRA Champion and point’s leader Keith Rauch, 3-Time Champion
Tony Rossi, recent winner and 2007 Champion Chris Sheil will be their along with others.
