Ringgold, Georgia – September 3, 2010 – Former series Champion, Marshall Skinner from West Memphis, Arkansas passed team-mate Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas on lap 24 of the 30-lap United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear for the lead in the main event at Boyd’s Speedway on Friday night to capture his fifth USCS main event of the 2010 season.
Defending series Champion Terry Gray who started sixth passed Hagar who lost his breaks on the following lap and came home in the runner-up spot. Hagar coasted home in third place followed by the evening’s Goodyear Speed Dash Winner, 17 year-old rookie Morgan Turpen from Bartlett, Tennessee who led the first eight laps in fourth place. Another top rookie, 15 year-old Eric Riggins, Jr. from Charlotte, North Carolina who won the Engler Machine and Tool First Heat rounded out the top ten finishers.
