Neverlift Motorsports is thrilled to announce that 2010 King of California Golden State Challenge 410 Sprint car series champion, 17-year-old Kyle Larson of Oak Grove, CA will be wheeling the #15x Neverlift Motorsports TCR/Van Dyne in the Bay Cities Racing Association Midget event on Wednesday, September 8 – the opening night of the 57th Annual Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA.
Young gun Larson has quite the racing resume, including limited Midget action, including placing tenth at the prestigious Chili Bowl Midget Nationals in January 2010, as well as a myriad of victories and championships in Sprint Cars and Karts.
Joining Larson will be teammate, “Mr. Excitement” David Prickett of Fresno, the reigning 2009 BCRA midget champion in the Manitowoc-Press Box-Prickett’s Distributing #15 Spike/Van Dyne. Prickett is hoping at turning bad luck into positive results in Chico.
Both Larson and Prickett will be vying for the $1,000 winner’s share of the Midget portion of the fabled Gold Cup. They will be among approximately two-dozen drivers competing in the exalted event.
Joining the Midgets on opening night of the 57th Annual Gold Cup will be the California Civil War series 360 Sprint Cars and the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Car Shootout series. Wednesday’s racing program is general admission with no reserved seating.
