Rolling Wheels Yields Top Ten Finish

From CDR

Action resumed for Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team on Saturday as they raced at the biggest track on the World of Outlaws schedule, the 5/8-mile Rolling Wheels Raceway Park, a track very familiar to Dollansky who has six career top ten finishes at the track in Elbridge, New York with four of those being top fives.

With 31 drivers signed into the pit area and horsepower a necessity around the big 5/8-mile track, Dollansky made the best of a late qualifying effort as he timed in 10th with a lap of 16.413 seconds. Making the heat race inversion of sixteen meant Dollansky would start on the outside pole of heat race two where he go on to take the victory in the 8-lap event. Winning the heat race earned the Karavan Trailers sprinter a spot in the dash which wound up being a race all about the number seven, as the #7 started seventh and finished 7th.

In the ‘New Yorker 25’ A-Main event, Dollansky would start inside of row four. When racing got underway, the event would go ‘clean and green’ the whole race with no cautions as ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ ran around the top ten all race to earn a top ten finish by the time the checkers flew as the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim came home 10th.

With only four nights of racing left on the 2010 Outlaws calendar, Dollansky and the Big Game crew will return to action next Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Indiana for an event that was postponed by rain earlier this season.
