January 13, 2011 – With most of the Hoosier state resembling a frigid winter wonderland, promoters of the King of Indiana Sprint Series are pleased to announce that the opening round of the 2011 KISS campaign is only 112 days away.
This year’s KISS program will be competed on six of the most challenging dirt ovals in the country, each an integral part of the series for the past three seasons. However, this year, the sequence of the races has changed. The curtain will lift at Bloomington Speedway on Friday, May 6. A week later, Gas City/I-69 Speedway hosts the second round, on Friday, May 13. The next weekend, Kokomo Speedway will be the site of the third event, Sunday, May 22. Lawrenceburg Speedway is next on the schedule, the following Saturday, May 28. After a short three week break, the KISS tour returns to Tri-State Speedway, in Haubstadt, on June 19, a Sunday. The King of Indiana will again be crowned at Paragon Speedway, Saturday, June 25.
