From Port Royal Speedway
Port Royal, PA – PRS Promotions and Port Royal Speedway has canceled the Saturday, March 5 Bug Day program.
The decision was made in advance of the program date when it was clear that melting snow, thawing speedway grounds and expected moderate to heavy rain on Monday would complicate and hamper efforts to have the speedway and grounds ready for action next weekend.
All systems remain a go for the March 12 afternoon practice session. Practice will be held from 1 – 4 PM. Pit admission for the program will be $15.00 with spectators admitted free.
Another Bug program is slated for Wednesday evening, March 16 from 6 – 9 PM.
The speedway then returns three days later with the season opener featuring 410 and 358 sprints at 6 PM. Adult general admission for the program will be $15.00.
The 410 sprints and super late models combine for a twin bill one week later, at 6 PM.
