BROWNSBURG, IN – MARCH 6, 2011… Saldana Racing Products has joined the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series contingency program. To qualify for the $50 certificate from SRP, competitors must display the company decal on their racecar.
Series officials are currently building the racer contingency program and will announce how the award will be distributed this Saturday at Perris Auto Speedway’s “Sokola Shootout.” The racer contingency program will award drivers for setting fast time in qualifications, winning a heat race, scoring a semi-main victory, the “hard charger” in the main event, and other possibilities.
The Brownsburg, Indiana based Saldana Racing Products opened for business in 1994 with two people running a small aluminum fabrication shop called Wagoner & Clark. Building mostly Sprint Car oil tanks and power steering reservoirs, they were approached by Knoxville Nationals winner Joe Saldana in late 1995 to purchase his racing fuel tank business. In January 1996, Saldana Racing Products was born and a few years later, they bought out their racing fuel tank competitor Fuel Bladders Incorporated. Since then, the company has never looked back.
Now, Saldana Racing Products also manufactures radiators for Sprint Cars, Karting, Drag Racing, Midgets, Mini Sprints, Street Rods, and Off Road Racing. In addition, they produce custom radiators for various applications. SRP believes that customer service is paramount and they take great pride in their ability to produce very high quality aluminum radiators at a fair price.
