Port Royal, PA – The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints Bob Weikert Memorial coming up at Port Royal Speedway on April 30 could turn out to be worth nearly $8,500 for one lucky sprint car driver.

The 30-lap Weikert race will not only pay $5,000 to win but thanks to Weikert’s Livestock of Fairfield and a conglomeration of nationwide sponsors, each of the first 29 circuits will be worth $100 to whoever leads them.

And on top of that, Weikert’s and their family of supporters has posted another $500 for the leader of the most important and final lap, already worth $5,000.

That means at the very least, the winner is guaranteed some $5,500 for his 30-laps of work but if he can manage to lead more than the final lap, he could grab up to an additional $2,900.

And that’s not too shabby!

And one of his favorite groups of competitors to race with as a car owner aside from the Port Royal contingent was the All Stars.

So, the traveling band along with Port Royal regulars and others from around the midstate will gather to vie for bragging rights in this year’s race coming up in two weeks.

Plus, fans who gather to take in the spectacle have plenty to look forward to aside from a host of exciting racing action.

Courtesy of Weikert’s Livestock, 10 lucky youngsters will take home free bicycles with five girls and five boys bikes slated to be given away at intermission.

On top of that, Weikert’s is offering beef giveaway prizes to general admission fans as just one more way of commemorating the memory of sprint car and promotion legend and pioneer Bob Weikert.

Weikert’s massive Beef Night programs at Port Royal Speedway in the 1990’s were some of the most extremely popular local promotions ever to be held in the area.

Gates for the Weikert Memorial will open at 5 PM with time trials slated to get underway at 7 PM. Adult General Admission will be $20.00 with students ages 12 – 17 admitted for just $10.00. Kids under 12 are free.
