FREMONT, Ohio – The weather this spring – coupled with high gas prices – has tested the patience of race fans across the Midwest. As a way to thank the loyal fans for their support and to help their wallets, Fremont Speedway will offer the lowest price ticket in the area for them to watch the exciting O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars.
Dale Blaney, Tim Shaffer, Greg Wilson, David Gravel, Cap Henry and more All Stars will battle the tough Fremont teams like Craig Mintz, Dean Jacobs, Brandon Martin, Byron Reed, Bryan Sebetto, Phil Gressman, Brad Haudenschild and more on a double-header weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29 (rain date for Sunday’s race is Monday, May 30).
General admission tickets for Saturday’s Kear’s Speed Shop Night – which includes the All Star sprints, Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and Fremont Fence and Guardrail Dirt Trucks – will be just $10 for adults! Teens (ages 11-16) will be just $6 and kids 10 years and under get in free.
“We really wanted to make this a ‘fan appreciation night.’ I don’t think there’s any other track that has a $10 ticket to see the All Stars. We understand times are tough for families and we wanted to make it affordable for them to have a great time over the Memorial Day weekend,” said Fremont Speedway Promoter Rich Farmer.
Ticket prices for Sunday’s All Star race will be $20 for adults; $18 for senior citizens; $10 for students; and kids 10 and under get in free.
Pit passes for each night will be $30.
Saturday’s All Star feature will pay $3,000 to win while the purse for the 305 sprints and dirt trucks will be the normal weekly pay-out. Sunday’s All Star feature will pay $5,000 to win while the 305 sprints and dirt trucks will each see the feature winner take home $1,000 on McDonald’s Night.
There’s plenty of camping available for the weekend at the campground across the street from the track.
