The 2011 USAC Mopar D1 Midget point battle continues this week with races slated at the Bryant Heating & Cooling Indianapolis Speedrome in Indiana Wednesday night and Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisc. Sunday night.

Michael Pickens, winner of Sunday nightโ€™s โ€œIndiana Midget Weekโ€ feature at Kokomo, Ind., has a one-point lead over Bubba Altig in the D1 standings, despite the fact that Altig won the series opener at Angell Park last month.

Wednesday nightโ€™s program at the Indianapolis oval also includes the Midwest Ford Focus and Focus Young Guns Series. Picking up the win on June 1 was Kyle Oโ€™Gara.

Fathers who are accompanied by their children will be admitted free of charge to the grandstands Wednesday night.
