From Bob Baker
KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 26, 2011) – Are you concerned about the probable continuation of the high heat and humidity in Knoxville during the upcoming ‘360’, Non-Winged and ‘410’ Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals? National Sprint Car Museum executive director Bob Baker said today, “We still have tickets available for the 360-cubic-inch, Non-Winged, and 410-cubic-inch Knoxville Nationals events on the museum’s air-conditioned second floor. With the August 4-7 and August 10-13 events coming up quickly, there is no reason to believe that current hot weather conditions won’t continue, so I would encourage fans seeking relief to reserve their second floor tickets as soon as possible.”
Tickets for seats in the second-floor clubhouse are available on a nightly basis. The clubhouse is an open area which can provide viewing for groups and parties as large as 150 people. The second floor of the museum is air-conditioned, and offers closed-circuit television, wireless internet, public-address system, restrooms and elevator access. Also, second-floor ticket-holders can bring their own food and drink on race nights. At this time, a limited number tickets are available for all race nights on the second floor, including for the Wednesday-Saturday, August 10-12, fifty-first annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals, which will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws (WoO) Series.
Tickets are currently available for the following special events:
August 4-6, ASCS Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals,
August 7, USAC Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals,
August 10-13, WoO Goodyear 410 Knoxville Nationals,
September 9-10, AMA Pro Flat-Track Grand National Series for Motorcycles,
Sept. 29-October 1, Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals.
