Atlanta, GA – October 29, 2011 – The racing format and payoff details are as follows for the unique United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear “Flip Flop 50” (twin 25-lap) event on Friday and Saturday, November 4th and 5th at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The race for winged 360 sprint cars posts a possible $10,000+ for one driver who can win both main events on Saturday night. Each sprint car feature race on Saturday night pays as follows: $2500 to win, then, 1250, 800, 600, 500, 450, 400, 350, 325, 300, 275, 250 and $250 thru last in each feature. There is a bonus of $5000 posted to win the second USCS Sprint Car A-Main from the rear of the field on Saturday night. Saturday’s B-Main(s) award transfer spots into the first A-Main then pays $200, 175, 150 and $150 thru last place to non-qualifiers. The USCS “Flip Flop 50” Entry fee is $100.
Friday (11/4) night’s racing format includes the six-cars, six-laps Goodyear Speed Dash paying Championship points and $100 to win. The qualifying (heat) races follow the dash. Those qualifying heat races will be scored via passing points. The top 8 cars in passing points then compete in the night’s final event, the K&N Filters Pole Scramble to determine the final alignment for the first four rows in the USCS presented by Goodyear first “Flip Flop 50” twenty-five lap main event.
On Saturday (11/5) night, the B-Main(s) will be contested followed by the first USCS sprint car main event. The first USCS main event will start straight-up from the qualifying races, B-Main and K&N Filters Pole Scramble finishes. After the first 25-lap USCS sprint car main event, the field will be fully inverted for the start of the second main event. The winner of the first main event will start dead-last in the second race. If the winner of the first main event can charge back to the front in the second main event and win, they will be paid a $5000 bonus.
The “Flip Flop 50” is the headline event for the USCS Fall Nationals at Riverside International Speedway. The balance of the triple-header United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) racing card includes the K&N Filters USCS Modified Touring Series open wheel modified division ($1000 to win each night) and the new USCS 600 Sprint Car Series for 600cc winged mini/micro sprints ($500 to win Friday and $1000 to win on Saturday) . Also on the action-packed racing card are the Riverside Speedway Stock Car/Street Stock ($1000 to win) and Limited/Crate Late Model divisions ($1500 to win).
