29TH ANNUAL ISMA AWARDS BANQUET HELD NOVEMBER 5TH
The Turning Stone Casino Cypress Room served as the backdrop for the 29th annual ISMA Awards banquet Saturday night, November 5th with many being honors for their 2011 achievements. Anne Schaefer, ISMA Auxiliary chairperson, served as Master of Ceremonies and after the awards, Ron Gray’s Millennium Music provided the music.

McCorkindale’s November Magic
The month of November is certainly proving to be a memorable time of the year for Jon McCorkindale. In November last year at Sydney Speedway, McCorkindale romped to his maiden sprintcar feature race victory, and close to 12 months later, he nearly did it again.

Kraig Kinser Finishes Ninth in Finale of the World Finals in Charlotte
One of the strongest fields of the season greeted Kraig Kinser and the Casey’s General Stores team in the Fifth Annual Lowes Food World Finals presented by Tom’s Snacks, Coca-Cola and Natures Own at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend, and the third generation wrapped up the year with a solid ninth-place finish, with all the action airing live on SPEED.

Strong Night on Friday of Finals
After being rained out following one of two qualifying sessions on Thursday, Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team returned to The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday for a big day of racing as they completed qualifying for Saturday and then continued with the originally scheduled Friday program.

The Golden State King of the West 410 Series is pleased to announce its championship point fund breakdown today, as teams will take part in a California sprint car record $116,000 total cash fund, plus over $200,000 in contingency prizes, giveaways and trophies at the awards banquet in January.

Warrnambool’s Jamie Veal took his second win in round three of the Eureka Garages & Sheds Sprintcar Series last night at the Heartland Raceway in Echuca/ Moama with Albury’s Grant Anderson in second and the Essendon Ford’s hard charger Domain Ramsay snatching third place in the late stages of the race.
