The scheduled 9/11 Bottleshop Classic for tonight has been cancelled due to the weather. It has been declared a non event and will no be rescheduled.
The nominated rain out date is Sunday, but with weather threatening tomorrow and an early curfew, it would be pointless rescheduling to then.
The other alternate date is the Friday before the South pacific, but as that would interfere with Carrick’s planned event, the decision was made to declare the event cancelled, and negotiate with the sprint car association as to the distribution of funds for the racing held so far.
The 8th and final round of the Farmers Union Iced Coffee Series has also been declared a non event, and will have no further rounds rescheduled.
