Mechanicsburg, PA — (April 21, 2012) — A line of afternoon rain swept through the Cumberland Valley. The persistent rain forced the cancellation of the first Williams Grove Speedway Saturday Night Series show.
The Saturday Night Series will return to action next Saturday night. The Blazer’s Body Shop Super Sportsman, the Brooks Graphix 358 Late Models, and the Newville Construction Services Street Stocks will be in action. The racing begins at 6:30.
Next week will be the “Meet and Greet,” where fans will meet three drivers. Super Sportsman driver Rick Barr, 358 Late Model racer Matt Nailor and Street Stock pilot Sam Rial will meet the fans at 5:00. The weekly autograph session will be in the infield from 5:00 to 5:30.
The Saturday Night Series will feature the weekly admission price of just five dollars for adults. The Saturday Night Series does not need gimmicks like rewarding returning fans.
