Factory Kahne Shocks would like to congratulate young Rico Abreu on winning his first career 410 main event just two weeks after scoring his first career 360 win, as he took the top prize with the King of the West Series on Saturday night.
Starting on the pole, Abreu fell to second behind Kyle Larson. Abreu scaled the top of the slick Thunderbowl as he chased down his close friend.
The leader had issues with four to go bringing out the caution, and putting Abreu on the front row of the restart, and like a seasoned veteran the youngster was masterful on the restart and cruised on to the very popular win.
All the way on the other side of the country, the defending Lernerville track champion, Carl Bowser, parked his potent machine in victory lane at Lernerville as his Factory Kahne Shocks continue to help is dominant team.
Though they weren’t victorious Factory Kahne would like to congratulate Shane Golobic on a tremendous run from 16th to third Friday night in Watsonville- Golobic shared the podium with second running Brad Furr, who was also on FK Technology.
Levi Jones wheeled his TSR machine to a second place victory at Haubstadt over the weekend. Levi’s Factory Kahne shocks have him sitting fourth in USAC National Sprint Car points as he chases another USAC title.
Bud Kaeding posted a pair of second place finishes in the USAC West Coast 360 double header over the weekend in Tulare, and Tommy Tarlton scored third and fourth place finishes during his first weekend on Factory Kahne Shocks.
