PETERSEN MEDIA

If you attended a sprint car race during the last week, the chances are the driver who won was on Factory Kahne shocks as our drivers scored 15 wins over the past week from 600 micros to World of Outlaw winged 410’s

Tony Bruce, Jr got the winning started as he picked up his second win in as many weeks and third overall by way of his Lucas Oil ASCS National triumph at the Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO. TBJ utilizes Factory Kahne shocks that are tuned in house by his crew chief, Wayne Priddy.

Thursday night, the winning heated up and continued as Bud Kaeding returned to the track that almost ended his career, the Terre Haute Action track and picked up the Hulman Classic and took home the Winchester riffle for his efforts.

Also on Thursday, Brock Lemley won the first of his three main events over the weekend utilizing his Factory Kahne Shock package. Lemley powered the Kench Brothers machine to a pair of wins at the Electric City Speedway before heading to Washington and picking up a ASCS Northwest regional win.

On Friday night, Joey Saldana got it done in front of a national audience. On the ultra slick Dirt Track at Charlotte, Joey picked up the win on Speed, as he inches closer to the World of Outlaw point lead.

Friday night, Ryan Roberts picked up a ASCS regional race as he bested the stout field assembled at the big, slick, Junction Speedway in McCool Junction, NE.

Saturday night the winning continued in a big way.

At the Selinsgrove Speedway, Cody Keller’s Factory Kahne shocks led him to his first career win as he wheeled his no. 99k machine to top billing. Keller was seriously injured in 2009 and the win caps off what has been a remarkable comeback.

In Australia, the racing continues and so does the winning on FK’s as Gary Brazier picked up the win at Archerfield Speedway during the 14th round of K R E Series action.

The most impressive win of the weekend came in California from Tim Kaeding. Kaeding started 16th at the Calistoga Speedway, and carved his way through the field on the ultra sticky surface and won on a last lap pass.

Jack Dover came back from a vicious crash on Thursday night at the I 80 Speedway and swept the double feature show at Eagle Raceway on his FK Shock package meaning Dover won two features on one night.

In Micro action at the Lemoore Raceway in California, Dominic Scelzi continued his dominant ways as he won the Tachi Nationals on both Saturday and Sunday, and was joined in victory lane Sunday night by his brother Gio.

Sunday night capped the busy weekend for Factory Kahne shocks by a win by none other than upstart Rico Abreu during the King of the West feature in Calistoga, CA.
