All across the country driver on Factory Kahne Shocks dominated once again from 410’s to midgets as Factory Kahne Shocks led to five wins and one speedweek title over the last week.
After winning the second night of Ohio Speedweek, Steve Smith stayed super consistent as he claimed the Speedweek Championship by averaging a 4th place finish on his Factory Kahne Shock package.
After winning the third leg of Ohio Speedweek in his series debut, Kyle Larson backed it up by winning on Monday night at the Wayne County Speedway on Monday night, making it a dominant week for FK Shocks as they won three of the eight nights of action.
Tony Bruce, Jr and Jason Johnson dominated the weekend at I 30 Speedway in Little Rock, AR.
Friday night, Bruce wired the field from the pole position on the extremely slick facility, on his FK Shocks tuned by Wayne Priddy. The win was TBJ’s third of the season.
Saturday night, Jason Johnson too wired the field at I 30 from his front row starting spot.
Johnson has been on a terror lately as this was his sixth win with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series on his Factory Kahne Shock package.
It seems that in Selinsgrove if it’s not Pat Cannon winning it Jason Shultz, and that was the case on Friday night, as Shultz pocketed his third win of the season using his Factory Kahne Shocks to part his Mach 1 Chassis machine in victory lane.
In Placerville, CA, Hall of Famer, Brent Kaeding, picked up his first win with the traveling 410 series since 2009 as he charged from his 13th starting spot to pick up the popular win.
Running in the companion series with the King of the West Series in Placerville, Shane Golobic stole the show with the BCRA Midgets as he charged the high scram side with the FK Shocks and took home the hardware.
The most thrilling win of them all came on Saturday night from 10-year old Gio Scelzi. Moving up into the stock 600 class, Gio used a last lap slide-job coming out of turn four in Lemoore, CA to grab the win, his first in the class in only his second start!
