Gaffney, SC — (September 29, 2012) — Due to late afternoon thunderstorms and a Tornado warning near the track, the USCS Carolina Thunder Nationals 2012 Round #2 Finale at Cherokee Speedway on Saturday, September 29th featuring the United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear winged sprint cars and the USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints has been rained out. A possible make-up date this Fall or earlier in the spring of 2013 is under consideration and final plans for that event will be announced by Tuesday.
