The 66th season for the Rislone URC Sprint Series will officially open Friday night, April 26 at the Big Diamond Speedway, an event sponsored by Pioneer Pole Buildings.
A star-filled roster of competitors will invade Big Diamond Speedway led be defending URC Champion Robbie Stillwaggon of Burlington, NJ. Other entries include Aaron Ott, Davie Franek, Josh Weller, JJ Grasso, Kramer Williamson, Randy West, Billy Pauch Jr., Dave Ely, Joey Biasi, Ed Aikin, Duane Mausteller and Andy Best, just to name a few.
The Big Diamond URC event will mark the 1,501st race in the sixty-six year history of the organization. A field of thirty plus URC sprints are expected for the opener that will pay $2,000 to win and $200 to take green flag in the twenty-five lap feature. Heat race events will pay $50 to win, sponsored by Engler Machine & Tool, Brad Penn Oil and Pioneer Pole Buildings and Bar’s Leaks will post $50 for the “B” Main winner. Fred’s Trailer Parts will also offer a $50 bonus to the Hard Charger of the Night as Todd Wise has $50 going to the Fast Time of the night.

On Friday night, April 26, gates will open at 5 PM with race time set 8:15 PM. All URC cars will be required to compete with mufflers. Competitors are reminded that transponders must be secured to the right front diagonal torsion tube.
