Tulsa, OK — (May 2, 2013) — All indications were that the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region would be absent for the high speed Central Arizona Raceway in 2013. However, good news has come from the management of the high-banked three-eighths mile oval that events on Saturday, May 18 will in fact be sanctioned with the southwest arm of the ASCS Nation.
Tested by Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real driver Logan Forler and Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region champion Rick Ziehl in open competition this season, all indications from the two winning drivers are the track is “wicked fast”.
The Saturday, May 18 date is a very special night of racing as it will be “Armed Forces Appreciation Night” at the Central Arizona Raceway and will include the Mini-Sprints, X-Mods, and Dwarf Cars in addition to the Hose Advantage Store Southwest Regional Sprint Cars.
Gates to the Central Arizona Raceway are scheduled to open at 4:00 P.M. (MT) with races getting underway at 7:00 P.M. More information about the coming Southwest Regional event can be found at http://www.centralazraceway.
