From Craig Dollansky Racing
After getting a good feel for the track posting the third fastest lap in hotlaps, Dollansky carried the speed into qualifying stopping the clock 5th fastest among the 37 drivers signed in for competition. Action all over the track in heat one saw the MobileStar Maxim slip back at the start but battle back to claim 5th in the final laps to transfer into the main event.
Lining up outside row six on the starting grid for the 35-lap A-Main, the Elk River, Minnesota native powered into the top-ten on the opening lap and then up two more positions just a few circuits later. Unfortunately the progress would be halted on lap 11 as Dollansky suffered a flat right-rear tire and brought out the caution.
Able to restart after the crew of DJ Lindsey, Sean Michael, and Chevy Corn made repairs, the Aggressive Hydraulics #7 ran sixteenth before the next yellow on lap 13. When the main event resumed Dollansky motored past two cars and then around Paul McMahan for thirteenth by lap 20. Losing a couple spots before a pair of cautions with 11 circuits remaining, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ raced into eleventh with four to go and then narrowed the gap on Tony Stewart for a spot in the top-ten but just missed out before the checkered flag waved finishing 11th.
This coming weekend the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team travels to Attica Raceway Park in Ohio on Friday, March 31st, and a visit the following night to I-96 Speedway in Michigan.
