Though their performance in 2013 has been fantastic, logistics have forced Brian Cannon and Andy Gregg to part ways effective immediately.

“I have to thank Brian Cannon for everything he has done for our team this year,” Andy Gregg said. “He has taught our team a ton, and I have to credit him for all off the success we have had to this point.”

With Cannon being based out of the Chico, CA area, and GUTS Racing being based out of Placerville, CA, it became increasingly difficult for the duo to make it work, as racing for both of them is an extra curricular activity.

“We tried to make it work, but with him working in Chico, and us being in Placerville, it was difficult on both parties. We are still really great friends, and I wish him well in his future endeavors,” Gregg added.

Together, the team ran 42 races, acquiring seven feature event wins, 22 top-five finishes, and 27 top-10 finishes, and a third place finish in the Placerville Speedway standings.

Andy would like to thank Coors Light, LivFast Clothing Co., GUTS Racing, Meyers and Son Drywall, Ervin Sales Group, K&N Products, FK Rod Ends, Eagle Motorsports, King Racing Products, BR Motorsports, Hinchman, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, and 103.5 The Blaze for their support in 2013.

2013 BY THE NUMBERS: Races-42, Wins-7, Top 5’s-22, Top 10’s-27

ON TAP: Gregg will be back in action on Saturday night September 21st, 2013 at the Placerville Speedway.
