(Lebanon, IN)  The Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW will return to action with a 50-lap Feature race at Anderson Speedway on Saturday Night September 21.  Following the next two races, the non-wing pavement sprint car series will crown its initial champion at the end of the 2013 racing season.

The high banks of Anderson Speedway are home to the Pay Less Little 500, the richest race in pavement sprint car racing.  The historic track also hosted the inaugural race, the Glen Niebel Classic, for the Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW in April.  Aaron Pierce took the win in the “Niebel”, while Jacob Wilson earned the checkers in the Pay Less Little 500.

The Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW 50-lap feature will highlight the nights feature events.  California driver Tony Hunt currently sits on top of the point standings with his Chevy LS3 Powered Beast sprinter.  Hunt is separated by only 36 points from Daleville (IN) native Aaron Pierce, fellow Californian Jo Jo Helburg and Florida’s Brian Gringras.  Floridian Garrett Green holds the 5th spot and leads the Simpson World Indy Rookie of the Year standings.

Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW qualifying will begin at 6:30, with racing starting at 8:00 PM.  The night’s action will also be highlighted by the fan favorite Bicycle Races for the kids.
