TULSA, Okla. (February 12, 2014) – Growing the list of contingencies offered to drivers who compete with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real, the “Nightly Rebound” has been introduced with Competition Suspension taking the title role.

The “Competition Suspension Nightly Rebound” will be given to the driver who takes the hardest spill during the course of the night at any Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real event. If no one goes for a ride, the rebound will be given to a driver who qualifies up front, but slips back during the A-Feature.

“We’re really honored to be involved with a national touring series like ASCS and try to help a competitor out that had a rough night. Hopefully we can help get them fixed up and back on track.” said Garrett Andrews.

Founded in 2009, Competition Suspension was founded with the goal in mind of bridging the gap between the technology seen in shocks used in NASCAR and Indy, while maintaining a product that short track teams could afford. Since their founding, CSI Shocks have accumulated over 1,000 short track wins. The biggest win for the company by far came in January, 2014 when Bryan Clauson captured his first Golden Driller in the 28th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.

Asked about what sets CSI Shocks apart from other suppliers, Andrews explained, “We’ve found our niche, being a smaller company allows us the flexibility to build each customers shocks custom to their specific needs. We then back it up with outstanding customer support, attending over 100 races annually to help customers and fine tune our product.”

The 2014 Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real season begins February 28 and March 1 at the Cocopah Speedway in Somerton, Ariz. Tickets for the $10,000 to win event are on sale at http://www.cocopahspeedway.com.

2014 marks the twenty-third year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, which brings the best of Sprint Car racing to dozens of different tracks throughout the nation. Anchored by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series, ASCS also consists of ten different Regions throughout the nation.
