Ohsweken, Ontario – March 20, 2014 – The 2014 racing season is quickly approaching, and Ohsweken Speedway will give you two chances to get ready for it this weekend. Ohsweken Speedway will have a presence at both the MegaSpeed Custom Car & Truck Show in Toronto on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the Speed & Customer Car Show in London on Saturday and Sunday.
MEGASPEED CUSTOM CAR & TRUCK SHOW – TORONTO
MegaSpeed Custom Car & Truck Show will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga on Friday, March 21, Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23. Team Turner Racing will be at the show representing Ohsweken Speedway, and will have their Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Car on display. Make sure to stop by to say hello, see their new look for 2014, and pick up your poster calendar, schedule, and 2-for-1 pass good for any regular Friday night racing event at Ohsweken in 2014. SPEED & CUSTOM CAR SHOW – LONDON
The Speed & Custom Car Show will be held at the Western Fair District in London on Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23. Ohsweken Speedway will be at the show with a car on display from the new Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Car division. Make sure to stop by to say hello, learn about the brand new division joining the weekly program, and pick up your poster calendar, schedule, and 2-for-1 pass good for any regular Friday night racing event at Ohsweken in 2014. 2014 SEASON
Ohsweken Speedway’s 19th season of racing begins on Friday, May 16 with 2014 Opening Night, including 25 lap features for the Corr/Pak Merchandising 360 Sprint Cars, and Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, 20 lap features for the Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Cars, and HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and a 15 lap feature for the Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers.
About Ohsweken Speedway: Founded in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile clay oval track. The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. Ohsweken’s weekly Friday night racing program runs from May to September each year, featuring Sprint Cars, Thunder Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Bombers, while the season finishes each year with the annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals. Ohsweken Speedway also hosts weekly Micro Sprint racing on Thursday nights, and has been a yearly stop on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series schedule since 2007.
