Atlanta, GA (July 2, 2014) – The United sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters kicks off a three-day, three-track Independence Day holiday weekend swing through Arkansas starting on Thursday, July 3rd with the 3rd annual “Rumble at the Ridge” at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway in Paragould, Arkansas. On the following night (July 4th ) The series travels Southwest in the state to Diamond Park Speedway in Nashville, Arkansas for the 2nd annual “Duel at the Diamond”. The weekend of speed contests and Fireworks displays concludes on Saturday, July 5thh at I-30 Speedway in Benton, Arkansas with the series 2nd ever appearance at the famed ¼ mile clay oval for the USCS “Hammer Down at Hammer Hill”.
The weekend offers up over $40,000 in prize money including $2000 to the first driver to reach the www.rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane each night. Each event awards USCS presented by K&N Filters National points as well as USCS mid South regional series championship points.
The K&N Filters Outlaw Modifieds and www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints join the sprint cars at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway on Thursday night. On Friday night at Diamond Park Speedway, the K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds are also on the racing card. Each track has Stock Car racing and a special holiday fireworks show on the program for a full night of family entertainment.
