Path Valley, PA — (October 4, 2014) — Zack Newlin started on the pole in the 305 Sprint 25-lap A-main and nearly went wire-to-wire for the feature win Saturday night at Path Valley Speedway. Tyler Reeser had other things in mind, coming off his recent win as he found the outside groove before the rest of the field and he blew from fifth on the start to second by lap 6 as he overtook Scott Ellerman and Ken Duke. On lap 10 he went to the outside and completed the pass of Newlin for the lead in turn two. The outside run went awry for Reeser as he pushed too high off turn four on lap 12, returning the lead to Newlin. Newlin led to the checkered to earn his $700 for the win over Reeser, Duke, Ellerman and Jim Kennedy, who started 8th. The winner’s brother Lance Newlin was sixth followed by Jonathan Jones, Ryan Lynn, Mike Alleman and Cory Thornton.
