Atlanta, GA – (October 22, 2014) – Over $51,000 is up for grabs when the United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) invades legendary Riverside International Speedway on Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st for its 6th annual USCS Fall Nationals at the ¼ mile gumbo clay oval track racing facility located just across the Mississippi river from Memphis, Tennessee in West Memphis. Arkansas. The huge two-day racing event serves as the 2014 season finale for the historic track.
The USCS Fall Nationals is headlined by the United Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars. The USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour portion of the event includes the longest main event in the history of the USCS series for the winged sprint cars with the 51-lap K&N “Fabulous 51” that will pay $5100 to the winner plus contingencies with over $25,000 in posted prize money for the strong field of United Sprint Car Series competitors expected to invade Riverside International Speedway. The K&N “Fabulous 51” is also the longest sprint car event in distance in recent history at the legendary racing facility know for Thrills Chills and Spills for part of seven decades. the longest of the season for either the track or the series.
The USCS presented by K&N Filters winged sprint car racing format on Friday, October 31st features a racing program that includes the Hoosier Tire Speed Dash for the top six cars from the previous main event followed by the sprint car qualifying heat races. The top eight qualified drivers in passing points earned during the qualifying races will then then compete for the top starting spots in the K&N Filters Pole Scramble event that will determine the line-up for the front four rows of Saturday night’s lengthy 51-lap USCS K&N “Fabulous 51” main event, On Saturday evening the USCS winged sprint cars will contest a series of B-Main/Last Chance races that will determine the final ten positions in the line-up for the 51-lap main event.
Joining the USCS winged sprint cars for the United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) $50,100+ season finale will be the popular 600+horsepower K&N Filters USCS Outlaw Modifieds ($1000 to win plus Bonues each night) and the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series for winged 600 mini sprints ($599 to win Friday and $1000 to win Saturday) with complete racing programs on both nights for both of those two USCS sanctioned series.
Additionally the Limited/Crate Late Models ($1500 to win) and Mid-South Street Stock Challenge ($1000 to win) divisions along with each of the USCS divisions will contest two nights of wide-open racing to complete the 65th anniversary racing season at the historic speedway.
