Springfield, IL — (October 25, 2014) — Chuck Merrill founder and owner of Maxim, Inc. has announced the pending sale of the company he founded in 1988.
According to Chuck the new owners will be Dan and Ron Musselman of Springfield, Il under the company name of Maxim Racing, Inc. Merrill said, “I have had other opportunity’s to sell Maxim, Inc., but never found anyone dedicated enough to run the company the way I want to see it succeed. I now have the opportunity to turn the company over to two higher quality individuals. Dan and Ron have been involved in Sprint Car Racing all their lives and love the sport the same as I have.”
Chuck would like to thank all current and past customers for their loyalty and business over the last 26 years. Their support has been a big part of Maxim’s success. Merrill said, “All the friendships developed over this time are highly valued by Chuck, Karen, long time office manager Marilyn and all of Maxim’s personnel.”
Dan and Ron intend to continue the tradition of building safe, fast and quality racecars that Maxim has been known for throughout the years. They will continue to offer the personal customer service that has been offered through the years.
