Lebanon, IN — (January 19, 2015) — Officials of Hoosier Racing Tire and the United States Speed Association have announced that once again Hoosier Racing Tire will post contingency awards for USSA’s Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW.
The 2015 racing season will mark the 3rd consecutive year Hoosier Racing Tire has posted contingency awards for the USSA non-wing pavement sprint car series. Hoosier remains the only tire manufacturer to support the series with contingency and on-site tire service.
Provided the competitors compete on Hoosier Tires and display a Hoosier decal, the race winners will receive a $100 certificate, while second and third place will receive $75 and $50 certificates. The certificates are good to use when purchasing a USSA legal tire for the Sprint Car Challenge Series.
Hoosier Racing Tire will award a certificate for $300 to the Series Champion at the USSA annual Awards Banquet.
“We are please to welcome Hoosier and their contingency program back for the third year,” said USSA Vice-President Eric Bunn. “Not only do their tires ‘race’ well Hoosier demonstrates their commitment to our competitors every event with tire service at the race tracks,” Bunn commented.
The 2015 Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW season opens on Saturday April 25 at Anderson Speedway. The event will feature the Glen Niebel Classic 100 lap event for the USSA Sprints and the CRA Super Series Late Models will fill out the Double Bill.
