Kokomo, IN — (March 15, 2015) — Tickets are now on sale for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event on Wednesday, June 3 at Kokomo Speedway in Indiana, and can be purchased online at http://slspromotions.ticketforce.com/kokomo2015 or by calling SLS Promotions 815-344-2023.
Donny Schatz, the six-time and defending series champion, won for the first time in his career at the quarter-mile semi-banked oval last season. Indiana native and third-generation driver, Kraig Kinser, is the winningest active series driver at the track with two victories. Fellow Hoosier Joey Saldana, the current series point leader, also has won with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Kokomo, as has veteran Craig Dollansky.
The World of Outlaws first raced at Kokomo Speedway during their inaugural 1978 season, with 20-time series champion Steve Kinser winning that event. The Hall of Famer, who spent his last full-time season chasing points last year, won a total of six times with the series at the track in his home state to lead all drivers.
