Atlanta, GA – (March 25, 2015) – The 4th annual “Toccoa Tangle” is set for Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th at the historic Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, Georgia. The huge two-day racing event at the freshly re-modeled unique 5/16 mile D-shaped northeast Georgia raceway is co-headlined by twoof the area’s most popular racing divisions, the 120 mile per hour United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars and the popular Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series
The two-night “Toccoa Tangle” features over 200 laps of main events in addition to qualifying races and is a true racer and fan smorgasbord of speed. In addition to the two headline divisions the event also features the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints and Fastrak Pro Late Models on both nights. Also on the action-packed weekend racing card are all of the Raceway’s weekly stock car racing divisions including the 602 Hobby, Modified Street, Monster Mini rules Stock Fours Beginner Fours and Rookie Fours..
Drivers from at least six states are entered for the fourth annual spring event at the historic Toccoa Raceway. Fans are sure to get their money’s worth with a full night of non-stop action both nights including a guarantee of plenty of thrills, chills and spills from the time the green flag flies for the USCS Outlaw sprint car dashes until the checkered flag falls on the final main event of the evening EACH NIGHT.
Friday night’s racing card includes the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars contesting a full racing program including their Hoosier Speed Dash featuring the top six cars from the previous main event plus qualifying heat races and main event. The www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series racing format is exactly the same as the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint cars on each night. The Fastrak Pro Late Models will time trial and run a main event and the 602 Hobby and Stock Four/Monster Mini Stock rules four cylinder racers and Front Wheel Drive class will compete in a full racing program including qualifying heat races and have main events for each division on Friday
On Saturday night the USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged Outlaw style sprint cars contest their Toccoa Tangle finale with another action-packed high speed program including the Hoosier Power Dash, qualifying heat races and a 30-lap Championship main event. The Southeastern Late Model Sportsman Series invades on Saturday and will contest their entire racing program with $1500 on the line for the winner on Saturday night.
Also on the racing card on the final night of the Tangle will be the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprints with another full racing program including their Hoosier Speed Dash, qualifying heats and main event. The Fastrak Pro Late Models will contest another complete racing format on Saturday as do the 602 Hobby and the Stock Four division. On Saturday night, the Modiifed Street and Rookie Four classes get their chance to impress fans with their own door-to door racing action as well.
Pit gates open at 4:00 pm on Friday, March 27th. The spectator gates open at 5pm and racing kicks off at 7:30pm. On Saturday, March 28th Gates open at 3:00pm with racing action starting at 6:00pm.
