Ventura, CA — (April 10, 2015) — Just when you thought it could not get any better, race organizer Mike Grosswendt goes back to work and offers more incentives to insure that the May 9th “All Coast Challenge” at the Ventura Raceway will be a race to remember. He is determined to make the USAC/CRA race, which will pay $5,000.00 to win and $500.00 to start, one of the biggest events west of the Mississippi in 2015. Among his latest incentives is a bounty for any car owner who can put a selected star driver in their car for the event and a tire incentive to local VRA drivers.
Simply put Grosswendt wants the night, which will feature nostalgic Beatles music on a special PA system all night long, to not only be a race, but a fun, go to event. Part of the fun is hosting one of the toughest race fields of 2015. All of the stars and cars from the Amsoil USAC/CRA Series will be in the race, but there are several other drivers Grosswendt wants in the event. He is offering a bounty to any owner who puts one of those drivers in a car and has them race ready on the big night.
“It is important to race sponsor All Coast to attract some of the most talented drivers, especially from Northern California,” Grosswendt said on Friday. “For that reason we are offering $500 bounties to team owners that can produce the following drivers at the track ready to race! Nic Faas, Jon Stanbrough, Shane Golobic, Ryan Bernal, Bud Kaeding, Jonathon Henry, Dave Darland and Gary Taylor.”

To induce the locals who normally run with VRA (Ventura Racing Association), Grosswendt is offering any past VRA champion or any current regular VRA driver (who has started two VRA races prior to May 9th) a free Hoosier right rear tire.
In addition to those incentives, every driver who enters the race will receive a swag bag that contains an event poster, All Coast Construction t-shirt, In N’ Out Burger gift card, surf stickers, Surf N’ Sprint stickers, Ventura Raceway stickers and other surprises.
As previously announced, teams that tow over from Arizona will receive $500.00 in tow money (if two teams travel together in one hauler, the $500.00 will be paid to the team that owns the hauler).
Teams are urged to pre-enter the event by May 1st to help get the word out on who will be at the prestigious race and to get the following benefits when they arrive at the track on race night.
TOW MONEY checks ready on arrival for AZ drivers
DRIVER GIFT BAGS on arrival
HOOSIER TIRES on arrival for VRA Regulars and Champions
BOUNTY MONEY for select driver checks ready on arrival
Teams can pre-enter starting today by calling or E-mailing Scott Daloisio at (909) 226-7768 or mailto:sdaloisiosports@aol.com.
Teams that do not pre-enter will still receive all of the perks, but they will be mailed after the race.
There will be special incentives on the spectator side of the catch fence as well with a dance contest for the kids to the Beatle’s “Twist and Shout.” The top dancer is going to pick up a great prize to be announced in upcoming weeks.
“I am determined to make this a shining moment for Ventura fans,” Grosswendt said with a smile. “It is about a sprint cars only race, family fun and fans on their way back home by 10:00 PM. This is going to be good.”
Adult tickets for the race are $25.00. For seniors 60 & older, active military with id and students with id it is $15.00. Kids age 7-12 are $10.00 and children 6 and under are free. Spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM with qualifying at 5:30.
