USAC/CRA SPRINT CARS RETURN TO VENTURA FOR 550th EVENT SATURDAY

Ventura Raceway is the place to be this Saturday as the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars will take center stage at the seaside oval. The May 2nd showcase is the 550th event in series history and will also feature the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC Western States Midgets, VRA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts, and VRA Junior Classes.

One year ago, Corey Day placed himself in the record books as the youngest ever Turkey Night Grand Prix winner. On Saturday, one night after celebrating his 20th birthday, the Clovis, California racer became the youngest two-time victor of the ARP Turkey Night Grand Prix Presented by The West Coast Stock Car/Motorsports Hall of Fame at California’s Ventura Raceway.

Pusley sweeps weekend of sprint cars at Ventua

Daison Pursley swept the weekend of Ultimate Sprint Car Series features after winning the 30 lap feature after a spirited lead swapping battle with Kaleb Montgomery Saturday night at Ventura Raceway. Chasing Pursley and Montgomery was Cole Macedo, David Gasper and Ricky Lewis.

Daison Pursley topped a 56 car field and won the 30 lap Ultimate Sprint Car Series feature at Ventura Raceway Friday night. Following Pursley was Kaleb Montgomery, Carson Macedo, Kevin Thomas Jr. and Ricky Lewis.
