Indianapolis, IN — (April 27, 2015) — Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway hosts the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars again Saturday night and once again drivers Damion Gardner and Mike Spencer expect to be among the favorites for the victory.
Owning eight total championships, the two drivers have accounted for 93 total USAC/CRA feature wins. Of those 93, 57 have come at Perris. Gardner has 32 wins at the PAS and Spencer 25.
Gardner, seeking a fourth series title compared to Spencer’s five, has a five-point lead over Spencer in the 2015 standings. Gardner has a win, a second, a third and a fourth in his four starts. Spencer has three thirds and a fifth.
Matt Mitchell, winner of last year’s USAC West Coast Sprint Car championship, stands third in the points, 38 behind Spencer. Matt has finished in the top-six in all four features so far this season.
