St. Croix Falls, WI — (June 19, 2015) — For the UMSS Traditional Sprints, the collective talent of the field shone through again, as the field scored their third caution-free 25-lap feature of the summer. Micro Sprint graduate Tony Duran’s power plant failed in his debut heat race, forcing him to scratch for the feature. The remaining fourteen sprinters embarked on another of their patented high-middle-low multi-groove races. Two-time series champion Rob Caho started on the pole, and emerged as the lap one leader in front of gaggle of previous winners. Chase Viebrock, fresh off dual wins last weekend, led the second group that also included Jimmy Kouba, Jake Kouba, Rick Kobs, Jon Lewerer, Mike Mueller, Johnny Parsons III, Kevin Bradwell and James Giossi. Caho checked out on his way to his second trophy of the summer, but the all-star cast behind him jostled, sliced and diced for runner-up honors. Jake Kouba had his #6 sprinter hooked up in seemingly whichever line he chose, pulling in front of Viebrock just five laps in. By half way, Caho was nearly a straightaway in front of the melee, as that second group was finally settling into their established grooves. As the double checkers waved, it was Caho in dominant fashion over Jake Kouba, Mueller, Parsons and Viebrock. The win makes Caho the only driver other than Viebrock to have scored multiple TSCS wins in 2015.
