PATRIOT SPRINT TOUR
Jared Zimbardi earned a hometown victory last Friday night at Little Valley Speedway racing his No. 35 J&J to victory in the Patriot Sprint Tour 25-lap feature event. Zimbardi drew the pole position for the main event and led throughout, but he had to fend off several challenges and overcome a collapsed nose wing to claim his fourth win of the season. The victory was his 23rd PST win of his career.
ALL-STAR CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS
Lee Jacobs opened the All-Star Circuit of Champions two-night Independence Day event at Mercer Raceway Park with a victory last Friday night in the No. 81 J&J. Jacobs started fourth and overtook leader Sheldon Haudenschild following a lap 18 restart. He led the next five circuits before a caution with two laps remaining slowed his run to victory. Jacobs controlled the restart and went on to win his first All-Star event of 2015 and fourth of his career.
“This was a long time coming,” said Jacobs. “We’ve struggled some this year so it feels great to get a win this weekend. My car owner has won a lot of races here at Mercer Raceway Park. Adding another to the list is really special.”
Chad Kemenah finished second in Rob and Rita Hunter’s No. 10h J&J to give J&J a one-two finish.
SOUTHERN OUTLAW SPRINTERS
Shane Morgan raced to victory last Friday night in the Southern Outlaw Sprinters event at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Morgan started his No. 01 J&J on the pole and led every lap to score the popular victory.
Marshall Skinner finished third in his No. 26 J&J to give J&J two of the three podium spots.
IOWA STATE FAIRGROUNDS
Matt Moro had another strong night driving Mike VanderEcken’s No. 10 J&J. He won his heat and the feature event in the 305 class. The win was his third of the season.
DEVIL’S BOWL SPEEDWAY
Martin Edwards swept the 305 Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway last weekend in his No. 45 J&J. Edwards won his heat and started the main event third. The race included numerous lead changes and the final one came on lap 19 when Edwards seized control for good.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS
Donny Schatz picked up two more wins last week racing with the World of Outlaws. He drove Tony Stewart Racing’s No. 15 Bad Boy Buggies/Chevrolet Performance J&J to victory from the 10th starting spot at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City last Wednesday to bring his win total up to 18. On Saturday night, he led all 30 laps in the Boothill Showdown at Dodge City Raceway Park. The win was his 19th in 42 WoO starts this season.
