By Bryan Hulbert TULSA, Okla. (April 14, 2016) The 2016 lineup for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products has reconfigured dates in the month of July with events in Oklahoma and Texas added to the docket.
Dubbed the “Sooner Sweep”, July 7-9 brings together dates and conciliates the weekend into a nice three day package for ASCS Red River teams.
Moving to Thursday, July 7 Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. will kick off the three night affair with Outlaw Motor Speedway in Wainwright, Okla. taking up events on Friday, July 8. Capping off the weekend is the Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla. on Saturday, July 9.
With rain claiming events at the Superbowl Speedway on Saturday, April 9, the make-up date has been announced with the series returning to Greenville, Texas on Saturday, July 16. A TBA date has been added to Friday, July 15. ASCS officials are in talks with track owners and hope to announce the newest addition in the coming weeks.
The next event for the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products is the series debut at the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan. on Friday, April 22. The Oklahoma based region teams up with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs the following night at the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Mo.
The rejoining of the ASCS Sooner and Lone Star Regions, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products enters its second season of action across Oklahoma and Texas with events going out as far as Kansas and Missouri.
