Dodge City, KS — (May 7, 2016) — Don Droud Jr. returned to Victory Lane on Saturday during the GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 NCRA/NSL Region’s first-ever visit to Dodge City Raceway Park.
Droud Jr., who claimed the most recent GoMuddy.com NSL 360 NCRA/NSL Region event last month, won a heat race to open Saturday night before he capitalized on a front row starting position to capture the main event, which was shortened to 20 laps because of incoming inclement weather.
C.J. Johnson, who also scored a heat race win, finished second with Jeremy Campbell, Tony Bruce Jr. and J.D. Johnson rounding out the top five, respectively.
Forrest Sutherland placed sixth, Taylor Velasquez seventh, Raymond Seemann eighth, Jon Freeman ninth and Tyler Knight was 10th.
The GoMuddy.com NSL 360 NCRA/NSL Region returns to action on May 27 at Salina Speedway in Salina, Kan.
