Susquehanna, PA — (June 4, 2016) — For the third time in four weeks, rain has forced Susquehanna Speedway management to cancel another Saturday night racing program. It marked the fourth cancellation of the 2016 racing season and was the second time this year that the Tyson Fence sponsored night was lost by the weather. Track officials are looking at a new date for the night.
Up next on the schedule will be the Carl Billet Memorial presented by FK Rod Ends on Saturday, June 11th as the 358 Late Models will go after the $1,500 top prize in a race run in memory of one of the greatest limited late model racers in the area and the all time leading late model winner at Susquehanna. Time trials will set the field for the Billet Memorial as the area’s top limited model racers expect to be in action once again. The Credit Connection Auto Sales Super Sportsman and Street Stocks will also be on the June 11th racing card. It will also be KIDS Night as well as York County Racing Club Night. Pits open at Noon with grandstands opening at 4PM and Racing beginning at 7PM.
