OHSWEKEN, Ont. (August 5, 2016) — – A brief but heavy rain shower brought racing to a halt on Friday, August 5 at Ohsweken Speedway on McDonald’s Restaurants of Brantford and Paris Night. The night’s races are considered complete. Please refer to our Rain Out Policy for more information: CLICK HERE
The rescheduled Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stock A-Feature from July 8 was completed, along with qualifying races for the Empire Super Sprints tour, Strickland’s GMC Crate Sprint Cars, HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers.
The remainder of the Empire Super Sprints portion of tonight’s August 5 program will be completed on Friday, September 16 during the Burger Barn Night Before the Nationals.
Dave Bailey claimed the win in the Thunder Stock A-Feature, setting a new 20 lap track record in the process. Stay tuned for complete results and rescheduling information for the Crate Sprint Cars, Mini Stocks, and Bombers.
