BELLEVILLE, Kan. (August 6, 2016) — Bryan Clauson was hospitalized Saturday night following an accident while racing with the USAC National Midget Car Series during the Belleville Nationals and the Belleville High Banks.
The incident occurred during the feature shortly after Clauson took the lead from Chad Boat. The incident occurred after Clauson and a lapped car made contact that caused Clauson to hit the wall and flip, crashing into the path of another competitor that slammed into Clauson’s car.
USAC officials indicated Sunday morning Clauson was transported to Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln, Nebraska. We have no further news on his condition.
