SUN PRARIE, Wis. (September 1, 2016) — For the first time in over twelve years, The Mid-State Equipment/Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series returns to Iowa’s Farley Speedway on Friday Night Sept. 2.
Badger will be part of the tracks 39th annual “Yankee Dirt Track Classic”. Joining Badger on Friday racing schedule will be the IMCA Modifieds, and IMCA Deery Late Models. Pits open 4 p.m. with grandstands opening at 4:30 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m., with racing to follow. Badger’s only appearance at the track saw Scott Hatton’s winning the feature event on August 21, 2004.
Badger caps off Angell Park Speedway’s 70th season of racing on Sunday Night Sept. 4. The “Kevin Doty Classic” will also feature the Speedway Motors POWRi North Outlaw Micro/ Badger 600 Micro Series presented by My Race Pass co-sanctioned event, and the Meyer Valves & Vacs Wisconsin Wingeless Sprint Series.
