SEDALIA, Mo. (September 17, 2016) — Capturing his first victory of the 2016 season with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps; Washington’s Seth Bergman also parked it for his first career victory at the “Historic Half-Mile” Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo. on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Seth’s second career win with the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps, the driver from Snohomish trailed the first 20 laps.
Leading the opening five rounds, Wyatt Burks was removed from the point by fifth starting, Jonathan Cornell. In full command of the A-Feature, the son of Sedalia would not see the checkered flag drop as engine woes gripped the Kiowa Line Builders No. 28 with five laps to run.
Handing the lead to Bergman, the Corridor Electric No. 23 sailed to victory atop the half-mile oval.
A season best finish for Wyatt Burks, the No. 11w crossed runner-up with Tyler Blank recording his second podium finish of the 2016 season. Randy Martin, from eighth, came up to finish fourth with son, Evan, following from ninth to complete the top-five.
Chris Morgan, Matt Close, Lanny Carpenter, and Danny Thoman completed the top-ten.
Up next for the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will be the co-sanctioned Hockett/McMillin Memorial with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo. The $10,000 to win affair takes place September 22-24, 2016.
