YORK HAVEN, Penn. (December 7, 2016) — Susquehanna Speedway will once again be part of the two big weeks of Amsoil USAC Racing in Central Pennsylvania in 2017.
The AMSOIL National USAC Sprint Cars will bring the Eastern Storm to Susquehanna Speedway on Sunday, June 11.
The second big USAC date will be the AMSOIL National Midget Series where Susquehanna’s Sunday August 13 date will kick off the annual Midget Week at area speedways.
“We are thrilled to have the USAC Sprint cars and USAC Midgets back at Susquehanna Speedway in 2017,” said General Manager Kolten Gouse. “We had a great show this past year and we’re looking forward to having this traveling series come back against the locals.”
Chris Windom won the Sprint Car event in 2016 while the Midget race was lost to the weather.
The Extreme Stocks will join USAC on both shows while the 600cc Micro Sprints will also be a part of the August 13 Midget program.
Both events will see green flag action at 7pm with pit gates opening at 4pm and grandstands at 5pm. Admission for both events will be $20 for Adults; $15 for Students and Seniors with Kids 12 and Under Free.
