On a slick race track there are few better than Hartford, Ohio’s Dale Blaney. “The Low Rider” proved it again Friday at Attica Raceway Park as he threw a “slider” on Chad Kemenah on a restart with five laps to go and went on to score his 130th career Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions victory.

Mitch Brown keeps winning at Ohsweken in the family

Mitch Brown kept winning at Ohsweken Speedway during the 2016 season in the family. Mitch followed up his brother Jake’s first career victory the previous week by winning Friday night’s Cool Kidz Corr/Pak Merchandising Sprint Car Series feature. Brown took the lead from Jamie Turner on lap five and drove away from his brother for the victory. The race was also the Brown family’s first one/two finish in the 360 sprint car division.

Ballou goes back to back in the Hulman Classic

Robert Ballou slid his way into the record books Wednesday night, surpassing A.J. Foyt and Roger McCluskey on the all-time USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car win list with his 24th career series win and becoming just the third driver in the 46-year history of the “Tony Hulman Classic” to win in back-to-back years after outdueling Thomas Meseraull in a torrid race-long battle to collect the coveted rifle at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track.
