ESS Teams Looking for New York Sprint Car Challenge Crown

Fisher Files – Report From “The Ditch”!

Josh Fisher made his first career trip to the Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The track, affectionately known as “The Ditch”, hosted the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series last Friday and Saturday night at the “Rock ‘N Roll 50”. The Smithton, Missouri driver was running Harley Van Dyke’s #5H in the top five in Friday’s prelim before getting tangled with another car.

JESSE HOCKETT HARD CHARGER AWARD AT THE OVAL NATIONALS!

Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian has announced that beginning with this year’s 15th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals on November 4th, 5th and 6th, there will be a “Jesse Hockett Hard Charger Award” for the driver who passes the most cars in the A main event. Hockett, a star racer from Warsaw, Missouri, lost his life while working on his hauler in May.

Kaley Gharst – Sprint Invaders Champion!

Kaley Gharst keeps racking up the wins. The 22 year old driver from Decatur, Illinois notched his second series’ championship with the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders with authority by taking the $2,000 to win Season Championship main event at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa last Saturday night. The win aboard the Randy and Lori Plath Motorsports #14P was a series’ high fifth for the 2010 season, and he added to his record total of 18 wins in the series’ history.
