RACE CAR FLEA MARKET & AWARDS BANQUET WILL WRAP UP SELINSGROVE SPEEDWAY SEASON

A motorsports flea market for any type of racing division will be held at Selinsgrove Speedway from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The event is being coordinated by the D.H.&L. Fire Company through the Selinsgrove Fair Association, Inc., with all of the proceeds benefiting the fire company.

“I’ll take this one,” Chris Perley shouted as he erupted from his Vic Miller 11 in victory lane at Thompson Speedway Sunday. With ten laps to go in the ISMA portion of the World Series of Racing, Chris Perley, who had won six of the last nine World Series’ events, had not really expected win number seven. Not that Joey Saldana really needed a good luck charm with how strong he has been running this season, but just in case, he had one for the inaugural WoO Fest at Lone Star Speedway as his son Reece, who was on fall break from school, made the trip south from Indiana. Saldana won earlier this season at the half-mile located in Kilgore, Texas and also was victorious in Texas at Houston Raceway Park, both of which races his son was his in attendance for.
